Collection Requirements
This test is for collection only and to be mailed to the lab by the patient. CHS is not responsible for reporting the results to the provider. Natera accepts blood or saliva samples in general blood is preferred. If sending blood the sample requirement is one 10 mL Lavender-top K2 EDTA tube for any panel combination. If Tay-Sachs Enzyme is selected a second 10 mL Lavender-top K2 EDTA tube should be submitted (for a total of two tubes). If sending saliva the sample requirement is one 2mL Oragene? saliva collection container. Please note Tay-Sachs Enzyme testing is not available using saliva.

Shipping Instructions
Samples should be shipped as soon as possible. Blood and saliva samples should be stored at room temperature if shipping right away. Blood should not be exposed to temperatures above or below 43-98 degrees F.
